This is my character description of my boy from the giving tree. He always wanted lots and took the tree for granted.

Today in R.E we were learning about The Three Promises, Abraham, Moses and Noah. We learnt about God's faithfulness.

My Reading Presentation on Volcanoes

This is my presentation on volcanoes. I learnt that a volcano is an opening at the side of a mountain / hill and that magma stems  up to the earth's surface and forms lava.

Should a 13 year old high school boy be able to play in an all girls Netball team?

I am against Tre being able to play in an all girls netball team because
there are other ball games for him to play like Basketball. Also he could
be rough with the ball. Netball is known, mostly as a women’s only
sport. He might have wanted to play Netball to remember a family
member, friend, or a family friend. I think he should get over playing
Netball and start playing a new sport. Even though he was playing
Netball since he was five years old, I think he has had enough years
playing this sport. It seems like playing Netball was his dream but he
has played in many tournaments in the past. Men and women have
different body shapes. Tre’s body shape will change as he becomes a
teenager. He will become much more muscular. Girls could get scared
of him on the court. He can get more rougher through his teenage
years, and also he could get really aggressive if the other team has
the ball.

My Holiday Recount

Introduction

On a Thursday night my Mum, little sister and I were in a good mood and
sat down, watched TV until my little sister came into the living room.
She told me great news, that we were going into watch Toy Story 4! In my
head I was thinking that I was going on a playdate with my best friend!
I was sad but also happy because I was going on another playdate with
her to watch the Lion King movie. My Mum came in the living room and
told me that we were going, when she came back from the gym.
While she was at the gym my sister and I were playing a game called
́Roblox ́. I was playing with my cousins and friends from school. 

My Mum came back from the gym. She took a shower and we left. We
arrived at Lynn Mall and walked to the cinema. It was Thursday 18th July
the day we arrived. As soon as I stepped into the cinema I smelt the
delicious butter popcorn and the smell of the drinks such as Pepsi and 7UP.
My Mum bought me, my little sister and herself movie tickets.
We waited until around 6:10pm, when it was time to get inside. We went to
Cinema 4. When we walked inside there was a garbage bin in the front of
the door which meant that the workers or janitors were cleaning the movie
theatre, maybe because of the last movie. Finally we got to go inside. We
were waiting for minutes but it felt like hours of waiting. When we got inside
all the advertisements were coming on and I was like ́oh my gosh. Can
these advertisements please stop? ́ in my head. We finally got to get the
movie and then it was for it to start. At the beginning of the movie there was
Woody and his group. They went into Andy ́s sisters room, amd found BO
Peep. Soon Woody saw one of his friends stuck outside in the water about
to flow down the drain. Woody got his other friend Slinky dog to get him
down, and out of the window. Jessie held Slinky dog's tail while Woody was
down on the wet ground and grabbed his friend. Before Woody got pulled
back up Mum and Andy ́s little sister came walking into the room ´´Oh no!´´
I thought in my head because Bo Peep was getting sold. Andy's little sister
didn't need the toy anymore. I was super sad because Bo Peep was a really
long member of Woodies crew. I knew that Woody and his group would miss
Bo Peep. When Jessie opened the window, the crew including Jessie saw
that Woody wasn't there. Woody went to see Bo Peep for the last time. It was
sad to see Woody sad seeing Bo Peep leaving. Then Andy's little sister
came outside because she was looking for Woody. She found him next to
the car. Then when she put him down inside the house Woody got up and
went upstairs. Then when the crew saw him they said  ́Where is BO Peep?́
and Woody did not reply. 

Overall the movie was really good, there was not really anything I was sad
about except for when Bo Peep was leaving. My favourite part was when
Gabi Gabi stole Woodies chatbox and put it in her, then she laid down
somewhere in the store and a little kid came and heard her chatbox.
The funny part about it was that the kid did not want Gabi Gabi.
Eventually she did become friends with Woody and Jessie, also Forky.
Woody and Jessie got Gabi Gabi to get picked. I guess Woody didn't need
his chatbox anymore.

Martin Luther King Movie starring Stella, Tausala, Elina, Kale, Sione and Galila

This movie is about the life of Martin Luther King. Martin Luther King was a great role model because he stood up for civil rights.

This afternoon I used Word Art.com and created a Word Cloud on Fairness and Justice using an image of myself.

St Mary MacKillop Word Cloud

This is my St Mary MacKillop word cloud. This afternoon Miss Paton read a book about St Mary MacKillop and we had to take ideas from the book and make a word cloud about it.

Whetu and Nick

On Wednesday morning I rushed to school just before the bell went.
We were going to the theatre to watch a show called Whetu and Nick.
Whetu and Nick were about a British man looking for a lost map and bumped into
Whetu a Maori girl. We did prayers quickly so we could get to the theatre on time.
We finished prayers and went outside. We partnered up with someone from Room
5. I was partnered up with my cousin Tuvale. So we went on a bus.
The whole school fitted on two buses. We arrived at the Manukau Vodafone
Event Centre. After getting out of the bus we went inside to find a lot of different
schools like Saint Therese, Sir Edmund Hillary College and heaps more.

We were waiting for the show to start, then it started. The kids behind me were
from Saint Therese. They were talking to me and were saying things like
¨Do you know who this is?¨. We watched the show. I didn't understand anything
Whetu was saying except for some basic words like Whanau which meant family.
There was a funny part where she said ¨Oh my underpants¨ and everyone was
laughing. Then Nick was bleeding from a Tuatara bite. A tuatara is a lizard with
soft spikes that can be found on Islands in New Zealand. The whole audience
clapped at the end. The show ended and it was really short but overall it was
really good. After we went out of the theatre, we took some photos with
Nick and Whetu. I enjoyed looking at the special effects.
The lighting was amazing and it was great to have a narrator to add emotion to
the mood of the show.
